System Sensor: Picture Peter Mita
Peter will be responsible for managing and building relationships with fire systems integration partners

System Sensor Europe, part of Honeywell Life Safety, has appointed Peter Mita to the position of Business Manager, responsible for managing and building relationships with fire systems integration partners. System Sensor is the world’s largest manufacturer of intelligent and conventional fire detection devices. Products in the portfolio include the recently launched FAAST aspiration smoke detection detectors.

Peter has extensive experience of the fire detection sector. He joins System Sensor after four years as regional sales manager for Notifier Italia, and has held previous sales roles within Honeywell Building Solutions and the Novar Group.

Sean Clay, Sales Leader, Honeywell Sensors and Devices, EMEAI, said, “Peter’s previous experience gives him a unique perspective on the needs of fire systems integrators. He is already very familiar with our latest technology and the projects we are undertaking across Europe, and has a wealth of industry contacts. It is a busy year for us in terms of product and market development. Moving from the system to the components side of the business enables him to make an immediate contribution without a steep learning curve.”

Peter has a wealth of experience in sales and marketing and has a Degree in Economics from the Cattolica University of Milan.
