Some key topics at ID World Abu Dhabi 2012 will include transportation security and border control

A distinguished line up of top-drawer speakers, populating the preliminary agenda of the fifth annual EMEA summit on security, mobility and traceability, is set to provide an unmissable conference for the international ID WORLD community on 18-19 March 2012 in Abu Dhabi.

The 2012 Abu Dhabi program will feature an exclusive mix of presentations where existing and emerging identification technologies provide the background to broader discussions about our future security and logistics infrastructures.

Over 2 days, the event is designed to give stakeholders across the entire ICT value chain a deeper insight into different strategic, technical and operational issues surrounding automatic identification adoption and implementation. Key topics around which discussions will center, include "Serving Resident Populations", "Citizen ID Schemes", "Border Control", "Global Trends in ID", "Transportation Security", as well as "Track and Trace Ecosystems" and "Cloud Computing and Mobile".

ID WORLD Abu Dhabi will once again be hosted and produced by Wise Media, offering a world-class conference under the patronage of UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior, H.H. Sheik Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, endorsed by the European Commission and the Emirates Identity Authority.

ID WORLD Abu Dhabi is the first appointment in the 2012 calendar of ID WORLD events, which is taken to key regions and markets where the ID Revolution continues its reach. As the annual EMEA summit, it will host the Citizen ID Forum, the Transportation Security Forum and the Asset Tracking Forum, as well as special initiatives, Postal Innovation, HealthTech Innovation and the NFC Academy.
