Vicon's 16 Channel video Encoder integrates 16 Analog Cameras with ViconNet IP Video Management System
Vicon’s high-performance 16-channel video encoder makes it easy and affordable to integrate up to 16 analog cameras into a ViconNet network video surveillance system. This H.264 encoder enables ViconNet software to apply a full range of features to analog cameras, including museum search, analytics, dynamic load balancing and automatic detection. Hundreds of cameras can be supported in a high-density solution simply by stacking multiple units within a 19” rack. The unit transmits full frame rate across all channels, provides dual network ports for redundancy and supports dual streaming. It may be powered by PoE, high-power PoE or AC current. Given these advantages and its low price-per-channel, the 16 channel encoder makes NVR solutions the most sensible choice for obtaining hybrid system functionality.
