Clarion Defense and Security Ltd. has announced that it has joined forces with GSE Media to run the world’s first major trade event in the rapidly expanding people analytics field. The People Movement and Management Show (PMMS) will take place at London’s Olympia from 6-7 March 2018 during UK Security Week, alongside the successful Security and Counter Terror Expo (SCTX). The move will help establish PMMS as the key pan-European trade show for the people analytics industry and will showcase a range of technologies alongside SCTX’s 200-plus exhibitors, which cater for all areas of the security industry. This year’s Counter Terror Expo saw a 10% rise in pre-registrations compared to 2013 Counter Terror Expo 2014, held on 29th and 30th April at Olympia London, proved to be as successful as ever, attended by some 8,691 industry leaders and delegations from across the world. Firmly established as the leading international event of its kind, this year’s show – the 6th edition – saw a 10% rise in pre-registrations compared to 2013. As one visitor commented, “Counter Terror is an essential day for me. It prepares my business for the year ahead by allowing me to research new products and services as well as getting updated on new legislation. It’s also vital for me to be able to meet up and network to gain new ideas and debate the issues.” Exhibitors themselves were impressed not just by the number of visitors attending but also by the high proportion of decision makers with a genuine interest in sourcing the latest equipment and services. The view of Peter Rogers, CEO of Sentinor, was typical of many of those exhibiting: “The show was fantastic; many of the people that we spoke with during the expo have already been in touch, asking for more information regarding our CobWeb Portfolio and WaterCress products. Complementary to the success of the show there was a rebooking rush on the final day with over 50% of the exhibiting companies booking space one year in advance for CTX 2015.
