This includes dealing with Global manufacturing partners on a daily basis and regular factory visits. Shaun obtained electronic training during a 4 year apprenticeship in Electrical and electronic engineering with the Ministry of Defence. He has 21 years’ experience in the CCTV industry and formed DVS Ltd in 2003 and have seen it grow from 2 guys in a single room to its current size of 40 staff and an annual turnover in excess of £18M.

The move has come as a result of rapid growth and an increase in customers’ demand for their product range DVS Ltd, Europe’s leading Hikvision distributor is relocating to a 21,000 sq ft headquarters from the 30th of November, 2015. Following 6 months refit, DVS will be operating out of a cutting edge premises which is five times the size of their previous one. The move has come as a result of rapid growth and an increase in customers’ demand for their product range. The workshop will be 5 times the size of their previous one and the warehouse is over 13,500 sq ft. The aim is to raise stock levels to £3,000,000 as quickly as possible so that they can continue to have the largest HIKVision stockholding in the UK. Located in Cardiff, it is only 4 miles away from their preceding location. The new corporate HQ brings plans to increase (even further) the level of support on offer to their customers. It seems no expense has been spared in creating their state of the art demonstration suite which showcases the latest technology on the market. Customers are invited to use the suite to better understand their range. They also have dedicated training room, which will be used as the base for their HIKVision training academy which is currently being established. They have recently recruited Tim Goodson as finance director to maintain and manage their rapid growth. Tim’s Previous Roles & Responsibility Tim’s role as finance director was created as a result of Jemma Bowie taking a side step in the business to become the organisational development director. Tim is a qualified chartered accountant and spent 7 years at PwC and has 10 years’ experience at director level within SMEs. He is also a Vice Chairman of the South Wales Chamber of Commerce and a volunteer trustee director for the Welsh Football Trust. This news has arrived shortly after the announcement of their immanent move to a 21,000 sq. ft corporate HQ which has undergone a 6 months refit. DVS are becoming industry known for their excellent customer service with 16 new recruits in 2015 to improve their already superlative pre & post-sales support. Paul is the latest member to join DVS in a recent surge of recruitment UK based security Distribution Company, DVS Limited have been taking on new members of staff to accommodate their rapid level of growth. Their most recent recruit is Paul Jones who has been employed as an area manager. Paul has worked in the security industry since 1997, previously working for Norbain, NUUO Inc and Dedicated Micros Ltd, Paul is taking a broad knowledge of the industry to his role at DVS which will undoubtedly support their expansion. Paul is the latest member to join DVS in a recent surge of recruitment. Last year they hired 6 new members of staff in a 3 month period and are currently looking to add 5 more.
