The fully operating mobile surveillance demo van is free for DVS Ltd customers to use for on-site demonstrations and open days. Latest Technology Launched at the DVS Ltd and HIKVision Golf Day on the 6th of June, the custom build has taken 3 months and cost a total of £60k and is kitted out with the latest in technology from HIKVision. DVS Ltd have already had a lot of interest from customers and local councils requesting usage of the van. The van has an impressive 8 meter telescopic camera mount, fitted with a HIKVision Darkfighter PTZ, an ANPR camera and 4k bullet, 2 externally fitted mobile video surveillance cameras and 6 cameras internally all connected to a 4k monitor and a monitor for the mobile NVR. It also has the latest network keyboard, DS-1600KI achieving a fully self-contained mobile CCTV solution. Dave Davies, technical manager at DVS Ltd said of the van, ‘We have a lot of customers wanting to visit the DVS demo room but they struggle to find the time or they are based too far away. With our new van we will be able to take the demo room to them! Everyone that has already seen the van has been very impressed with not only the picture quality that we can achieve but the amount of tech we can show in one van. Customers are only recently learning about its availability and we are already getting bookings. It’s not surprising really when we are offering this service to our customers for free.
