Vice President of Operations, Open OptionsRoscoe Coffman began his career in the security industry in 1985 as a resident technician for Mosler Safe Company in Waco. After eight years at Mosler, Coffman worked for Sensormatic Corporation, where he spent his first 18 months as the project manager. He completed his tenure at Sensormatic as regional operations manager, and shortly after that, joined Securenet as a Senior Project Manager. In 1992, he joined Open Options where he currently serves as the VP of Operations and is responsible for Technical Support, Technical Training, Documentation, Safety Certifications (Met Labs and UL), and FIPS 201-2 product compliance with GSA.

Open Options, an industry leader in open platform access control solutions, has announced that DNA Fusion access control software and the SSP-D2 intelligent controller are now registered on the United States General Services Administration (GSA) Approval list (APL #10075) under the PACS Infrastructure category. Eligible For Federal Purchasers The Federal Information Processing Standard (FIPS) 201-2 notified Open Options that both DNA Fusion and the SSP-D2 intelligent controller have been successfully tested against a rigorous, comprehensive set of functional requirements derived from government-wide specifications, said Open Options Vice President of Operations Roscoe Coffman. The GSA APL approval means that Open Options DNA Fusion and the SSP-D2 intelligent controller are now available to all federal agencies for procurement.
