Pete Jones is Founder and Managing Director of Third Millennium, a specialist access control manufacturer acquired by HID in 2025. His career spans more than 40 years, beginning at Intel as a Technical Marketing Engineer where, at just 22, he was named Rookie of the Year. He helped develop one of the industry's earliest PC-based access-control systems and later co-founded Codepoint Systems before founding Third Millennium in the mid-1990s. Today, he continues to guide its technical direction, combining engineering-led innovation with HID's global scale and mobile-access leadership.
