Developing Mechatronics Having worked for ASSA ABLOY for 11 years with brands including ASSA, UNION, Adams Rite and Trimec, Simon Wilson will be using his extensive experience to establish mechatronics as a core product for ASSA ABLOY and promoting CLIQ throughout the country. Prior joining ASSA ABLOY, Simon held positions within technologies development for Sony UK and as a sales manager within Comet group. New Access Control Electronic Products Relatively new to ASSA ABLOY, Nick Bartlett has over 22 years experience in the security industry, including 12 years at Alpro Architectural Hardware and working as an access control manager at Aldridge Security. Nick will be commercially and strategically driving electromechanical products forward in his new role, actively identifying gaps in the UK market for future security and access control electronic products. Simon Wilson, National Sales Manager -– CLIQ Remote, at ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, said: “In the last ten years the electromechanical market has doubled and mechatronics is allowing master keying to be brought into the technological age. “CLIQ combines traditional locksmithing with modern IT and is just one example of how ASSA ABLOY is truly a leader in innovation. This latest round of TDSi appointments follows an impressive set of recent recruitments across the company Integrated security solutions manufacturer TDSi announces the appointment of its new Graduate Software Developer; Thomas Bird and Senior Export Technical Support Engineer; Kevan Fry. Growing the technical support team, which assists both partners and customers, is equally vital, as John Davies added, “As well as developing the right products we need to ensure these systems can be successfully installed and integrated at customer sites around the world – so I am equally pleased to welcome Kevan to the team. He will be available to support our export partners and their technical needs or enquires wherever they are in the world.” Before taking on the new role, Kevan previously worked with TDSi as a contractor, as well as being an EPOS systems engineer and also a Radar Technician with the Royal Air Force. Upon accepting the new role he commented, “I enjoy learning and training with new technology as well as traveling and meeting new people – so being the new Senior Export Technical Support Engineer is a perfect role for me. She started her career at the company as a Revenue Systems Administrator back in September 2000. With additional fluency in both English and Arabic, Samia is ideally placed to help the team leverage further business growth. Before joining TDSi Samia assisted with commercial and administrative management with HAIER and enjoys volunteer work with Secours Populaire Francais. In Kathryn’s case, the logistics of running a busy, growing office and warehouse means that we require a dedicated office manager to ensure operations run like clockwork.
