MOBOTIX, the provider of premium-quality secure IP video systems, will showcase its newly launched, award-winning M73 and MOBOTIX 7 Universal app platform at ISC West 2020 from March 18-20 at the Sands Expo and Convention Center in Las Vegas (booth #18117). MOBOTIX will also be announcing their new MOBOTIX Cloud platform at the show as well. MOBOTIX M73 Camera The new generation of M73s features three separate environmental sensors, the M73 can be fully customized to any applications’ needs with the ability to utilize optical, thermal, infrared, day/night, or audio functionalities simultaneously. The open platform incorporates applications based on AI and deep learning The intelligent modular design of this system is a clear commitment to flexibility that takes versatility and customization to extremes rarely seen. The open platform incorporates applications based on artificial intelligence (AI) and deep learning. Booth #18117 will also demo some of the most powerful AI apps available in the MOBOTIX 7 platform. Cybersecurity is another foundation of this new release. MOBOTIX has recently obtained the international certification, "Secure by Default,” for complying with the 12 pre-established security guarantee guidelines. Smart IoT devices MOBOTIX will be launching the new MOBOTIX Cloud, which provides the ability to remotely manage MOBOTIX and external ONVIF camera systems from any location, using smartphone, tablet, or PC. This solution will make the powerful MOBOTIX technologies even more accessible for users. MOBOTIX will also highlight its flagship lineup of smart IoT devices, the Mx6 series, for a range of vertical applications, including Thermal. These Programable Logic Devices (PLDs) reach beyond security to create more efficient operations for businesses in many verticals, from predictive militances in industrial applications to data-based merchandizing strategy in retail. The MOBOTIX AG Supervisory Board appointed Hartmut Sprave as the new Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and reappointed Klaus Kiener as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for another three years. Hartmut Sprave succeeds Dr. Oliver Gabel, who had resigned in November, and his experience includes many years in software and hardware development. He is expected to take up his role by 1 September 2018 at the latest.  In 1991, he co-founded MacroSystem Digital Video GmbH and had served there as CTO for 18 years, having earned a degree in Physics. The company is active in development of digital video editing solutions. He currently serves as Vice President Software at Loewe Technologies GmbH and is responsible for software development at numerous sites in Germany and abroad. Hartmut Sprave will be responsible for hardware, software, product management, quality management and strategic innovation at MOBOTIX AG.Klaus Kiener was a major contributor in developing and implementing the Fit for the Future restructuring program Restructuring Program Klaus Kiener has held the position of CFO at MOBOTIX AG since April 2016. His reappointment means that he will continue to be responsible for finance, controlling, organization, IT services, purchasing, logistics and production until 31 March 2021. He was a major contributor in developing and implementing the Fit for the Future restructuring program, together with Thomas Lausten, who was appointed as member of the Management Board in June 2017. The restructuring program includes all investments made to strengthen the IT infrastructure (implementing an ERP/CRM system), measures to strengthen product development, marketing activities and an increased focus of the sales structure on growth markets, as well as a streamlined, more efficient structure for work processes and the overall operational organization. It is being implemented as planned and the turnaround is expected to take place in the current financial year already. The MOBOTIX AG Management Board now has three members: Thomas Lausten, Klaus Kiener and Hartmut Sprave.

Thomas Lausten assumes responsibility as the new CEO of MOBOTIX. On March 27, 2017, the supervisory board has appointed Thomas Lausten as new Chief Executive Officer.  This "rounds-out" the management board composed of Dr. Oliver Gabel (CTO), Dr. Tristan Haage (CSO) and Klaus Kiener (CFO). Lausten has both corporate and medium-sized business experience. He was responsible as Global Sales Director at Siemens, as well as the Managing Director of the Nordic region in ADI Global Distribution.  As Vice President of EMEA, Lausten contributed significantly to the success of Milestone Systems. He is familiar with MOBOTIX due to his previous experience in this market. “With Thomas Lausten, MOBOTIX was able to win a top manager from the video security industry,” says Yuji Ichimura, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of MOBOTIX. “We are glad to have him on board as CEO of MOBOTIX”. Following Klaus Gesmann‘s resignation due to illness in February 2016 the company was led by the three management members without chairman. Effective from June 15, the management board consists of four members including Thomas Lausten.
