Geutebrück is well positioned for the industry 4.0. The family-owned company has expanded its portfolio within a short time, from being a pure CCTV supplier of products for distributors and installers to a provider of software-based all-round solutions for safety and process optimization, including for end customers. Part of this were not only comprehensive technical developments or a significantly higher range of services, but also organizational reorganization, such as the Business and Development division that was newly created in April. It includes the Key Account, Key Market Development, Pre-Sales and Marketing departments. Burkhard Henzgen is the General Manager Business Development. He directly reports to the two CEOs Katharina Geutebrück and Christoph Hoffmann. Henzgen is supported by Georg Goffin, Director Sales, who is responsible for the DACH region with his team, and Dr. Christian Gutzen, who also heads the newly created "Pre-Sales" division. User-friendly video security software Museums, KRITIS, banks or public authorities from over 70 countries use Geutebrück's solutions Isabel Kluth, who only joined Geutebrück in October, is in charge of national and international marketing. The Finance, HR and Controlling departments, for which Andreas Degen is responsible as Commercial Director, have also been restructured. Katharina Geutebrück, CEO: "The new management team will ensure that we continue to be experts in a field that only a few providers worldwide are able to master.” Geutebrück is an international provider of highly available, user-friendly video security software and the corresponding hardware. The Geutebrück experts provide consulting and services to customers throughout the planning phase, during implementation and after completing the order. Well-known museums, KRITIS (critical infrastructures), companies from industry and logistics, banks or public authorities from over 70 countries use Geutebrück's solutions. The family-owned company is managed in the second generation by Katharina Geutebrück and her husband Christoph Hoffmann and celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2020.
Geutebrück, international specialists for video systems in the security and process optimization sectors in Germany, will be represented with offices in India and Malaysia from May onwards. From these locations, customers from the logistics, industry and government sectors will be supported more closely. Geutebrück Southeast Asia is focused on the regions bordering Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and Hong Kong. The office premises in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur are a sales, representation, showroom and training center in one. Individual Response To Each Project Our customers in Southeast Asia appreciate the flexibility of being able to respond individually to each project"Geutebruck Gemini India Solutions Limited is the name of the joint venture between Geutebrück and Gemini Software Solutions. Gemini is a subsidiary of the Kanoo Group of Companies, Bahrain, and provides software solutions worldwide. Geutebrück Gemini India Solutions Limited is based at World Techno Park in Trivandrum, and in New Delhi, India. "Our customers in Southeast Asia appreciate the flexibility of being able to respond individually to each project, rather than offering ready-made solutions. And they rightly expect us to be personally at their side with support and service," explains Managing Director Katharina Geutebrück, who is the second generation to run the family business with her husband Christoph Hoffmann. Showcasing Versatile Video Solutions There is also a change of location in Germany. The software developer's capital city branch relocates to Berlin-Adlershof and showcases its versatile video solutions in a state-of-the-art showroom. "All over the world, our solutions for securing ministries, institutions or museums and for optimizing processes are almost invisible. In our capital city office, we show what makes us a successful global player,” adds Christoph Hoffmann. The innovative development of software products, also in the field of artificial intelligence, and successful international projects have made Geutebrück a respected expert and world market leader for video solutions ‘Made in Germany’. Company headquarters, manufacturing plant and R&D center are in Windhagen, directly located between Cologne and Frankfurt.
With the increasing threat of acts of terror and violence, it becomes ever more important to protect crowds of people Oktoberfest, Carnival, Christmas markets, sporting events – protecting public spaces, events and facilities has an entirely new level of urgency due to the global threat of terrorism. MSS (Mobile Screening Solutions) is a newly established security consortium that addresses this challenge by developing a unique, fully equipped screening vehicle as a mobile checkpoint (prevention tool). Geutebrück is a premium partner of MSS and equips it with video solutions. The vehicle will be presented to the public for the first time at IDEX in Abu Dhabi 19-23 February. Security Against Terrorism With the increasing threat of acts of terror and violence, it becomes ever more important to protect crowds of people. The greatest risk emanates from bomb attacks, positioned either on the attacker’s body or placed in a vehicle, and from hidden weapons. They need to be tracked down before they can reach critical areas with large numbers of people. With the MSS screening vehicle, the vision of a fully integrated mobile security concept becomes reality: As a mobile security center, it carries innovative detection and screening equipment, including metal and liquid explosive detectors. People and baggage are scanned in the vehicle through walk-through slots and they can also be connected with mobile scanners outside the vehicle. This all happens in real-time! All activities, whether inside or outside the MSS sprinter, are visualized using video security solutions delivered by Geutebrück specifically to meet these requirements. "We can integrate powerful video and alarm management solutions, which are components of a mobile screen vehicle for the first time" “As an MSS premium partner, we provide high-quality video solutions that are tailored exactly to these mobile challenges. This means more than just surveillance: With our management system, all recordings and live images are displayed clearly, providing an overview that makes it possible to react instantly in case of an alarm. With our video analysis, suspicious persons and situations can be identified and alarms triggered,” explains Christoph Hoffmann, Managing Director of Geutebrück. MSS | SIOS.ONE – Newly Formed Security Consortium The challenge of protecting critical infrastructure and public facilities is becoming increasingly difficult for security forces. The growing level of complexity makes fully integrated, networked security systems necessary. This can only be achieved by a combination and connection of both mobile and stationary security applications. Leading German security companies have come together to work towards this goal. They have equipped the MSS vehicle with the highest quality security solutions and developed it into a unique mobile security platform based on the Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Enhanced Video And Alarm Solutions “With this alliance, we tackle modern security challenges with a unique solution. The participation of Geutebrück is an important milestone for the MSS project. We can integrate powerful video and alarm management solutions, which are components of a mobile screen vehicle for the first time,” explains Steffen Heinicke, Managing Director of Hartmann Spezialkarosserien GmbH. “The cooperation with Geutebrück allows us to use the MSS vehicle as a variable expansion of building or event security and provide it as an additional just-in-time resource, even at airports if necessary. MSS stands for mobile solutions; with SIOS.ONE (Smart Integrated Object Security) we offer fully integrated high-security solutions for the protection of buildings and properties. All components, both mobile and stationary, are interlinked and we can represent the information that we collect from them at an extraordinary depth, making early identification and detection of dangerous persons and baggage possible,” says unival group Managing Director David Vollmar. These companies are part of the MSS | SIOS.ONE consortium: Daimler, Hartmann Spezialkarosserien, unival group, Geutebrück, Bruker Detection, XRIS, THIEM Security Solutions, CProjekt, Elettronica and the Austrian Institute of Technology AIT.
Geutebruck sealed the partnership with Elbo Technology in Windhagen Geutebruck is expanding its network of Dutch partners: Katharina Geutebruck, Managing Director of Geutebruck GmbH and Erwin Wigmans, Managing Director of Elbo Technology, have sealed the partnership in Windhagen. The Geutebruck Managing Directors, Katharina Geutebruck and Christoph Hoffmann rely on the specific market expertise of their regional sales partners, "We are focused on creating advantages for our customers. In order to achieve this goal, it is essential to have a reliable partner on site. We rely upon the network and the market knowledge of our new partner, Elbo. Working hand in hand, we will be able to meet customer requirements at 100% of our capability.” Long-Term Collaboration Just like Geutebruck, Elbo is also a family-owned company. Erwin Wigmans founded the company, which is specialized in door intercom systems, in 1987. "As soon as we came into commercial contact, working on a large-scale Dutch project in 1996, we were very impressed by the high-quality solutions and strong management software offered by Geutebruck," says Erwin Wigmans. "I am convinced that their video solutions are an excellent addition to our current portfolio and I am looking forward to a long and successful partnership," Wigmans continued. Save
Each connected system can control each of the others and exchange data with it Geutebrück has developed a completely new possibility for the integration of several systems into a homogenous overall system: the new integration server G-Link is a central platform, on which all interfaces in the network run centrally. The elaborate development of interfaces is not required. G-Link combines all interfaces with the same authorization and even enables a parallel communication of all connected systems with each other. For the user, this means saving time, flexibility, and even more Winning Images. Perimeter Protection Whether video security or value imaging, the combination with third-party systems offers great advantages. It saves the user the often time-consuming parallel handling of several separate systems. And video images combined with information from third party systems—such as perimeter protection or barcode scanners in logistics—really do produce the Winning Image from a single image. The requirement for this is a jointly coordinated data exchange between the individual systems. "Video security is more than just the recording of thousands of images" “For us the customer benefit is paramount. Video security is more than just the recording of thousands of images. The one relevant image at the right moment is crucial. In order to provide this Winning Image, we require data from diverse sources. G-Link offers a real benefit, as it simplifies integration while at the same time offering opportunities for the control of the systems,” according to the two General Managers Katharina Geutebrück and Christoph Hoffmann.Automatic Simultaneous TranslatorThe integration server G-Link is a further building block in the Geutebrück range of products for the optimum linking of all systems into a complex, centrally controllable, homogenous overall system. Put simply, G-Link is the automatic simultaneous translator which understands, interprets, and sends the conflicting event messages of all connected systems to the others in an understandable format. So, each connected system—whether access control, fire protection, or product management—can control each of the others and exchange data with it. This software architecture offers a superior level in the joint potential functionality of integrated security systems.
Whether Video Security or Value Imaging – the Winning Image is at the center of Geutebruck's presence at the trade fair Security in Essen, Germany, is often used to present new products, features or technical highlights. The industry's most important international trade fair is a natural fit in this respect. However, Geutebruck is taking a different direction and placing the focus on customer benefit. The ambitious goal: Increasing customer benefit with a single image – the Winning Image. Whether Video Security or Value Imaging – the Winning Image is at the center of Geutebruck's presence at the trade fair. "Anyone can record images. Yet the key is not just having thousands of images, but rather having the exact right image at the decisive moment! That is our philosophy – because only that is useful for the customer." explains Katharina Geutebruck. Video Solution Interface Expertise But how does one get a Winning Image? This is exactly where Geutebruck's proven interface expertise comes into play. After all, a picture alone is often not enough, but in combination with information from third party systems – such as perimeter protection or barcode scanners in the logistics – the value is quickly visible. Visitors to the fair can discover exactly what lies behind this approach directly at the Geutebruck booth. Here, the Geutebruck team will present its newest video solution. "Pictures say more than a thousand words. The video will introduce viewers to our two solution worlds, Video Security and Value Imaging and convey their importance both emotionally and on a content level, allowing them to understand what our promise of a Winning Image can mean to our customers," explains Katharina Geutebruck. New Integration Solution Components Focusing on customer needs is also reflected in the sales orientation of the German company. Geutebruck will focus more on international target industries. "Because in order to offer customers added value in the long term, we need to know and understand their daily business and challenges in detail," emphasizes Christoph Hoffmann, Managing Director of Geutebruck. As a result, Geutebruck has also demonstrated a clear commitment in the development of new solution components. "Each feature must contribute to customer benefit. This is a clear dictate to our product management," explains Hoffmann. Geutebruck will provide a sneak peek at new developments at Security Essen with G Health and G-Link. "These two new products provide even better integration and availability of Geutebruck systems – issues that really count," say Geutebruck and Hoffmann. Value Imaging solutions work wherever goods are transported from point A to point B Security Essen, Germany is a great venue to present new products, features, and technical highlights. The industry's most important trade fair worldwide is a natural fit in this respect. However, Geutebrück has a different focus: the benefits for the customer. In addition to conventional aspects of security, this also includes economic advantages for users. These two core benefits are so important to Geutebrück that the company has decided to expand its existing video security business area with a second field: ValueImaging. Value Imaging"In terms of conventional video security, companies invest to secure an area or a specific piece of property. Value Imaging is an additional benefit that results from our solutions. If you visualize the interfaces in your processes, you can discover enormous potential. Hidden value becomes visible and, most importantly, it can also be utilized!" explain Katharina Geutebrück and Christoph Hoffmann, Managing Directors of Geutebrück. Application AreasValue Imaging works wherever goods are transported from A to B, from the baggage carousel at the airport to order picking in industrial companies and in conventional logistics processes of all kinds. The core of this solution is a combination of scanned data and video images. Cameras record the condition of the goods at all times and in detail, but it is their combination with scanned data that first enables efficient search procedures. This video information is used for confirmation when communicating with customers and helping to clarify irregularities and it is also used for analysis and optimization of processes."In our experience, shorter loading times, improved returned goods monitoring, and detection of incorrect loading make Value Imaging an investment that pays for itself in a few months," continue the two directors.Visit Geutebrück at Security Essen, booth 2C38 to learn more.
