Sohovich's IoT & technology experience will be an asset to CGI's connectivity strategy for integrated products The Chamberlain Group, Inc. (CGI), maker of LiftMaster® and Chamberlain® access control brands, announced recently that JoAnna Sohovich has been appointed CEO. “We are very excited about the strategic expertise JoAnna will provide our company,” said Craig Duchossois, CEO of CGI parent company The Duchossois Group. “Her background and values made her the obvious fit for this position, and we are looking forward to her leadership and insight.” Sohovich has had a distinguished career at both Honeywell and Stanley Black & Decker, where she most recently served as Global President of the $1.6 billion STANLEY Engineered Fastening. Sohovich began her career as an officer in the United States Navy and holds a B.S. in Economics from the United States Naval Academy and an MBA from Santa Clara University. This acquisition aligns with CGI's global strategy to invest in strong, innovative products to enhance its portfolio Chamberlain Group, Inc. (CGI), announced recently the acquisition of two Antech Guardian affiliates, based in Tucson, Arizona. The affiliates, Guardian Traffic Systems (GTS) and Guardian Gate Hinges (GGH), are both part of Antech's Perimeter Access Solutions offerings. Diversifying Product Offerings The GTS line will support CGI's LiftMaster brand by diversifying the LiftMaster product offering, adding road spikes, traffic barriers and systems to its current line of Perimeter Access Solutions.
