African.com, ranked as one of the top African wildlife sites on the web. It pioneered the live web cam to broadcast live images. This was a world first and fast gained popularity worldwide. Technology has moved on and we are proud to bring you the first of our live streaming cameras on the African Wildlife Channel.

To meet the main aim that the bear park wanted to achieve was to draw more attracting more visitors to their wilderness centre.  The EverFocus video surveillance system enable the wilderness centre to allow the public to take a first hand look at what happens in a bear den during winter. The African Wildlife Channel was able to show a mother bear delivereing her cubs by making it available to the Internet community?

EverFocus EPTZ300 speed camera captures images of wildlife park

An EverFocus EPTZ3000 Speed Dome camera was located inside one of the winter dens in the bear park and connected to an EKB500 keyboard controller where the camera could be controled.

Result

As a result of the EverFocus surveillance solution people are able to view images of the bear park in African National Park Bar Room and also via the internet on African.com.
