| Steve Clarke appointed as Managing Director at ComNet Europe |
Communication Networks of Danbury, Connecticut, doing business as ComNet™, parent company of ComNet Europe Ltd., and a leading manufacturer of fiber optic transmission and networking equipment, has hired Steve Clarke to be the company's Managing Director for its efforts throughout Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia. Steve Clarke will be responsible for ComNet's entry into the region to meet the growing demand and drive the sales effort for the ComNet fiber optic and Ethernet product lines. Steve will report to George Lichtblau, ComNet Chairman and CEO. ComNet has recently announced the opening of a central office in the United Kingdom to cover the expanding European, Middle East, Africa and Asian markets. The ComNet Europe office will house the administration, sales, technical support and product distribution for that area. Steve Clarke came to ComNet from his position as General Manager of the Fiber Communication Division for all of GE Security in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In that role, Steve was responsible for the sales and marketing of the former Fiber Options and IFS lines before both lines were consolidated under GE Security.

ComNet has recently announced an extensive line of fiber optic video and data transmission equipment as well as a line of Ethernet Network equipment that is uniquely toughened to meet the needs of the Security and Intelligent Transportation System markets.
