A Day / Night function (0.1 lux at F1.2 with AGC on) allows it to see both highlights and darker areas effectively. Additionally, an IR-cut filter switches on/off to further enhance this sensitivity in B/W mode.
This camera also comes equipped with "Wide Dynamic Range" technology and an "auto iris" with DC/Video drive feature to compensate backlight; and deliver excellent clarity in extreme or contrasting lighting conditions.
