Lumenera's Le259 series of network cameras are designed for indoor and outdoor, higher-end applications where detailed images and low-light performance is required.

Using the latest generation 16:9 format CCD sensor, the Le259 streams full HD (1920x1080) resolution at up to 15 frames per second.  Outstanding picture quality makes the Le259 an excellent solution for transportation, airports, railways, border crossings and seaports.  Large 2/3" CCD sensor with 2K x 1K pixel format is ideal for covering multiple car lanes, bridges, tunnels, large platforms, perimeter gates, warehouses, and rail tracks and yards.  The latest progressive scan sensor technology captures information-filled images of high-speed moving vehicles.  High dynamic range enhances license plate, facial and object recognition.  Adjustable JPEG and MJPEG compressed still-images or live streaming video is provided across a standard 10/100BaseT network.  The I/O connector provides an interface to an external alarm sensor or control of peripheral equipment such as, IR lighting, strobe and PTZ.  Alarm notification provides the date, time and camera IP address.

The Le259 is provided with a larger SLR Canon-mount, making use of off-the-shelf SLR lenses for the ultimate in quality and reliability.  This unique feature provides remote control of focus and iris.  Both monochrome and color variants are available and when integrated with NIR illuminators, the camera provides outstanding night-time performance.

The user defined motion detection parameters across multiple zones provide more accurate triggering of alarms, while programmable privacy zones ensure compatibility with all regulations.  On-board memory buffers supply still images that precede and follow alarm events.  Transfer of images via email, FTP, RTP or HTTP.
