Lenel Systems International has received a STAR Supplier Award from Lockheed Martin. Lenel was recognized for providing innovative critical infrastructure protection solutions. Lenel, a global leader in the development of software and integrated systems for government and commercial security markets, is part of UTC Fire & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.
The STAR Supplier Program enables Lockheed Martin to recognize its top performing suppliers for achieving the highest standards of on-time delivery, quality, affordability, technical competency and responsiveness. The award is given to only a limited number of Lockheed Martin suppliers who have distinguished themselves by meeting some of the most stringent performance criteria in the industry. As a STAR Supplier, Lenel gains added visibility throughout Lockheed Martin.
"We recognize the consideration with which the STAR Awards are given, and we're
proud that Lenel's working relationship with Lockheed Martin 's Transportation and Security Solutions business merits this kind of honor," said David Cunningham, president of Lenel.
"A key component of our corporate vision is to be recognized as a world-class customer service organization, and this award confirms that we're meeting that objective."
