The JPD100, JPD101 and JPD100P are joystick telemetry controllers capable of controlling all Ultrak programmable high-speed domes to provide pan/tilt motion control and zoom lens functions. A built-in LCD shows operator prompts, system messages, camera selections and monitor selections. Eight "Quick-keys" can start or stop a MultiCall function. A 3-axis joystick provides both direction and velocity control for PTZ functions. A rate-proportional increase in joystick deflection yields a like increase of P/T speed. Rotating the knob on the joystick provides the zoom function.
