The Dorado 584 utilizes the same function and format as the 544 with the addition of a keypad. This feature provides an additional layer of security by linking the card to the assigned card holder. The keypad housing is weatherproofed for outdoor installations. Both readers feature upward insertion from the bottom of the case to minimize the effects of dust, water, debris, and vandalism. They are available in either black or white with a bicolor LED (red/green) to indicate card read status.
