The Series 353A Interface is used in combination with another Fiber Options' transmission system, e.g., 244D, 245D, 246D, 249D, 2244D, 2245D, 2246D, 2249D, etc. It supports the features of intercoms manufactured by Aiphone, Bogen, Dukane, Rauland, and Stentofon with the features of the links with which they are combined. For example, when combined with the Series 244D1 (video and audio), the 353A allows video transmission to be combined with intercom over a single fiber. All the functions of the intercom systems, e.g., push-to-call, push-to-talk, call, and hands-free operation, are transparent through the interface units. AGC circuitry and LED system status indicators greatly ease installation.
