The HID 1450 MIFARE DESFire EV1 Card are designed for diverse applications that demand the highest levels of security, including access control and biometric identification, cashless vending, public transportation, ticketing and customer loyalty cards. It is available in PVC and Composite PET/PVC card construction, the HID MIFARE DESFire EV 1 card is exceptionally durable and can accept an embeddable contact chip for logical access and biometric ID systems. Its credentials have 8 Kbytes of dynamic memory arranged in easy-to-define application folders and data files. The MIFARE DESFire EV 1 data can be encrypted with the highly secure Advanced Encryption Standard (AES 128) algorithm assuring that data in the card is secure before, during and after the transaction, as well as between folders and files within the credential itself. When security and performance count most, HID’s MIFARE DESFire EV1 cards can be produced with visual security and anti-counterfeiting features such as holograms, ultra-violet fluorescent inks, micro-printing or a custom logo to quickly and easily identify genuine cards.

EDGE EVO Solo provides the ability to power all devices around a door using Power over Ethernet (PoE), significantly reducing total door installation costs by removing the need to install a separate power supply. The flexible ESH400-K controller offers a wide range of card to reader interoperability.

The NOMAD 30 Pocket Reader for Windows®, Android™ and iOS is an affordable fingerprint reader which can be bundled with smartphones, tablets or laptops to easily perform rapid/fast identification. Its mobile nature is perfect for identifying subjects without having to bring the person back to an office or police station. Automated Capture Process Once a law enforcement officer starts the workflow in the smartphone app to capture both index fingers, illuminated “landing lights” indicate that the device is ready to capture. The automated capture feature makes sure an image is captured automatically, when the image quality meets recognized image quality standards such as the FBI’s. Haptic Feedback A haptic motor in the NOMAD 30 Pocket Reader gives a vibration as an additional indication of successful image capture notification. This feature combined with the landing lights make it easy for officers to know that a good print was captured, saving valuable time for unnecessary quality checks during an operation. It also allows the officer to avoid close contact with potentially dangerous subjects for more than a few seconds. High-Quality Images The patented, capacitive thin film transistor (TFT) enables the reader to capture superior fingerprint images that meet FBI standards such as Personal Identification Verification (PIV) whether in indirect or direct sunlight. The same technology also facilitates the capturing of dry or dirty fingers, or when fingerprint surfaces are inked or stained. Superior Durability The top surface of the capacitive sensor on the NOMAD 30 Pocket Reader module includes a glass coating that protects the sensor by making it more resistant to scratches or impact. It is more durable for mobile use cases thanks to this protection layer combined with an Ingress Protection (IP) 65 rating for dust and water. The sensor has been tested for up to 1 million touches without a decrease in performance.

The Multi-Chip Module (MCM) provides the functions of an HID proximity reader on a single integrated circuit. The “Prox by HID”™ technology can be easily integrated to an existing electronic module and is able to be surface mounted to an existing PCB. The MCM enables RFID technology to be added to a wide array of electronic devices, including alarm panels, electronic door locks, biometric readers, logical access devices and process control equipment.

The HID ActivID Path Builder is ideal for organizations including government agencies and partner networks participating in a federated Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) comprising multiple Certificate Authorities (CAs,) in which each party requires the ability to validate the status and authenticity of others’ credentials. It validates the status and authenticity of certificates issued by a third-party Certificate Authority (CA). It provides a real-time validation of the certificate revocation status and confirms the authenticity of the issuing Certificate Authority by checking the complete chain of trust.

HID Global’s EasyLobby® Secure Visitor Management (SVM™ ) Satellite is used to control and monitor entry and exit at one or more internal locations or “check points” for visitors who have already been badged at a SVM workstation at the main lobby, visitor center or guard gate. Upon arrival at a Satellite station, the visitor’s badge is scanned and the Satellite station will display the visitor’s photo, name and clearance level while informing the operator whether to allow or deny the visitor entry into that area.

HID EasyLobby Administrator software allows users to perform database administration, as well as real-time monitoring and reporting functions. It creates and manages organization's badge templates, user accounts for guards or receptionists that will be operating the SVM badging software in each lobby. It also sets up and manage an automated, scheduled employee import process, ensuring the visitor list is always updated. The software manages all settings and options on each SVM badging station from the central administrator console.

HID eKiosk self registration software makes it fast and easy for visitors to register themselves upon arrival at a facility using a tablet computer. Organizations can configure the visitor form on an EasyLobby eKiosk device to include any field they choose. They can also display a PDF or HTML file using eKiosk for visitors to review and acknowledge the accuracy of the information they entered, or to agree to terms. It is an ideal solution for smaller lobbies that do not have room for a free standing kiosk. eKiosk also has the ability to screen visitors against pre-registered visitor lists and/or internal watch lists to keep unauthorized or unwanted people out of the facility. Runs on Windows, an Apple iPad or an Android tablet computer. It enables a visitor badge to be printed upon check-in.

HID Mobile Wireless Solutions helps process visitors who enter through guard gates, guard shacks and loading docks improving security through better vehicle and visitor management. Mobile wireless solutions are pre-loaded onto handheld wireless devices and are easy to learn and use. HID eAdvance visitor pre-registration software is a web-based application that enables authorized employees or tenants to quickly and easily pre-register visitors online, before the guest arrives. Using an organization’s internal intranet or Internet, any or all employees can be granted access to use eAdvance with no training required. The employee simply logs onto eAdvance, which can be located at onsite, and completes a simple visitor registration form.

The HID ActivID Validation Authority enables organizations to deploy a PKI certificate validation infrastructure capable of scaling to millions of user certificates. The solution supports the OCSP standard, enabling real-time validation from every end point in an organization’s network, without needing to manage multiple large Certificate Revocation Lists (CRLs). It can be combined with the ActivID Responder Appliance to establish local OCSP validation services across a distributed environment.
