Hanwha Techwin America Techwin Introduces "the Only Fixed Dome You Will Ever Need"
"Small enough to be held in one hand and yet packed full of features and functions, the SID-70 is likely to be the only internal fixed dome that installers will need to fulfill their customers' requirements," said Peter Ainsworth, European Product Manager for Samsung Techwin Europe Ltd. "Our design engineers have succeeded in producing a dome which incorporates the very latest advances in CCTV technology and yet is affordable for any type of CCTV project."The SID-70 features an integrated IR cut-filter to provide true day/night operation and incorporates an adjustable 3-axis day/night camera module as well as a 2.8~10mm varifocal lens to ensure the desire field of view is achieved.Powered by Samsung Techwin's W-5 DSP chipset, the SID-70 is equipped with third generation Samsung Super Noise Reduction (SSNRIII) technology to eliminate image noise in low-light conditions without creating ghosting or blurring. It also benefits from Samsung Super Dynamic Range (SSDR) which balances images to reveal detail that might otherwise be hidden in shadows, DIS (Digital Image Stabilisation) and Highlight Compensation. The W-5 DSP chipset, the new ‘engine room' of Samsung Techwin's mid-range product offering, provides the SID-70 with greater stability and articulated image processing to deliver ultra crisp and sharp colour images at 600 TV lines resolution from its 1/3" chipset. A sens-up capability of 512x allows the cameras to capture superb quality colour images at lighting levels far below that of other day/night cameras. All the features incorporated into the SID-70 DSP chipset are programmable via fourteen language on-screen menus that can be accessed remotely from the comfort of the control room using built-in coaxial control compatibility. As is the case with all Samsung Techwin products, the SID-70 is offered with free system design, free technical support and a full three-year warranty.
