Available as a rack-mounted or desktop model, the DVX digital video recorder offers high resolution, compressed digital images, which can be enhanced and copied without losing their original quality.  The recording frame rates and digital resolution can be changed for each camera automatically when triggered by motion detection and/or various alarms of the user's choice.  These alarms include signals from access control systems, point-of-sale devices, ATMs and infrared units.
