The fourth member of the mini dome flagship is Mercury/2 WDR.  WDR reproduces clear images in extreme high-contrast environments, which makes it perfect for security applications where lighting conditions change over time.  Basically the WDR technology compensates for the difference in contrasts resulting in balanced final images with lots of details.  Another feature is privacy masking.  By using privacy masking you can restrict what can be seen by masking areas with uniform colour so that no detail or movement in the scene covered by them can be seen. Main features: WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) setting that balances the brightest and darkest sections of the field of view producing pictures that image both highlights and shadows with great detail even in unfavourable lighting conditions, i.e. with strong backlight Dual power for greater flexibility with the option of 24 V AC or 12 V DC Light sensitivity with minimum illumination as low as 0.0003 lux in B/W 2.9-10 mm IR corrected varifocal lens 3 axis fixture for easy installation and flexible adjustment The Mercury/2 is also available in 2.9-10 mm black/white and colour as well as an IR version.

Ernitec continues to strengthen its position as a leading camera supplier by expanding their popular range of Mercury mini dome with the addition of an IR version.                     The new Mercury mini dome has built-in IR light and mechanical IR-cut filter which makes the camera adjustable to any light condition.  It enables you to see in daytime as well as in total darkness, making the camera perfect for 24-hour surveillance tasks. Like the other Mercury mini domes the IR version is a high resolution 550 TVL camera with a 3.8 - 9.5 mm varifocal lens, delivering a perfect picture quality which makes it easier to provide detailed material for identification. All Mercury mini domes from Ernitec are both vandal proof and developed from the ‘plug and play' principle, which makes them very easy to install.  Therefore the cameras are ideally suited for applications like schools, prisons and outside banks.  The Mercury cameras are also suited for both indoor and outdoor mounting - in-ceiling as well as on-ceiling or directly on wall.New wall mount bracketWith the introduction of the IR version, Ernitec also launches a wall mount bracket for all three Mercury mini domes.  The special designed bracket provides more installation possibilities and ensures that end-users get the full benefit from the Mercury cameras.
