Lens Manufacturer SENKOADL Exhibited Its Range Of Vari-focal, Fixed And Zoom Lenses At IFSEC

Product Profile

Lens manufacturer SENKOADL is one of few Asian producers to offer extensive warehousing in the UK, allowing distributors to work on short lead times and integrators to obtain units quickly.

At IFSEC 2008, SENKOADL exhibited its range of vari-focal, fixed and zoom lenses which are being specified at major projects across Europe.  Recent applications include traffic monitoring in the city of Edinburgh, machine vision at a car plant in Germany and quality control at a food packaging facility in the north of England.

The company is particularly strong in the transport sector with the Spanish national train operator, RENFE, benefiting from 2.8~12mm and 3~8.5 mm lenses on rolling stock that covers 15,000 km of track across the country.

New offerings include a five-megapixel 180° field of view fish-eye lens available as C, CS and board type D mount units.  The fixed focal length (1.87mm), F1.8 lens measures a compact 36 x 34.3mm and is well suited to IP usage.  Also on show will be a compact 20~200mm zoom for use on 1/3 and ¼" format cameras.

SENKOADL excels at producing lenses for demanding light conditions and 24-hour surveillance.  The company has been satisfying high-end market needs for 20 years and was keen to discuss possible relationships with potential distributors and OEM vendors at IFSEC.
