Barco, a global pioneer in advanced visualization and image processing technologies, is excited to announce its presence at I/ITSEC 2024, the premier event for simulation, training, and education. At the tradeshow in Orlando, Florida, attendees can experience Barco's portfolio, offering a comprehensive range of projection solutions tailored for both mid- and high-end simulation applications. Advanced simulation systems Barco’s offering is a highly adaptable projection portfolio with diverse options in lumen output At the heart of Barco’s offering is the highly adaptable projection portfolio with diverse options in lumen output, engineered to meet the needs of a wide range of training scenarios, from entry-level to advanced simulation systems, across multiple sectors. The state-of-the-art visualization solutions focus on unmatched image quality, high-refresh rates and ultra-detailed visuals - key essentials in the creation of realistic and immersive training situations. Latest additions to the portfolio The newest members of the simulation portfolio are the I600 and F400-N4K projectors, both built on Barco’s proprietary next-gen Pulse electronics and firmware platform for seamless processing with minimal latency. Barco’s I600 projector is an entry-level solution designed for those seeking a compact and lightweight projector without compromising on performance. Offering 4K UHD resolution at 120 Hz, the I600 delivers superior image quality, making it an ideal choice for simulation environments seeking high visual fidelity at an attractive price. Barco F-series projector range The F400 ensures even the smallest details are captured during fast-moving simulation scenarios Barco is now also shipping its F400 platform. The F400-N4K projector sets the standard for high-end simulation applications with the highest level of detail, speed, and reliability. Having a native 4K resolution, that can be scaled to 6K and beyond using advanced pixel-shift technology, and refresh rates up to 240 Hz, the F400 ensures even the smallest details are captured during fast-moving simulation scenarios. What’s more, the Barco F400, and by extension the Barco F-series projector range, have a robust design fully rated for shock and vibration, which makes them fit for use on motion platforms and ensures peak performance in the most rigorous environments. Experience Barco at I/ITSEC 2024 "We believe that by providing this wide range of solutions that combine cutting-edge technology with flexibility, we address the full spectrum of training and simulation needs," said Dan Czajkowski, Head of Sales Entertainment at Barco. Dan Czajkowski adds, "We are excited to meet everyone at the I/ITSEC 2024 show and demonstrate the strengths of our full portfolio of solutions." I/ITSEC 2024 I/ITSEC 2024 runs from December 2-6 in Orlando, Florida, USA. Visitors to Barco’s booth (#1735) will not only get a first-hand look at the company’s latest simulation solutions, but can also enjoy a taste of Belgium with a special Belgian Beer Bar event. The event will be held at Barco's booth on Tuesday, December 3 from 17h–18h30.
Pulse Electronics Corporation introduces a new internal dual-band flexible printed circuit (FPC) antenna to provide connectivity and data transmission for Internet of Things applications in security, home automation, appliances, lighting, medical/telemedicine, sensors, network monitoring, data collection, wearables, automotive, in-vehicle communication, and vending. The Plume Series W3315B0100 WiFi very compact 6 x 45mm antenna has a maximum antenna gain of 2dBi on the low band and 5dBi on the upper band with over 60% efficiency across the bands. Covers Lower Band WiFi Frequencies Pulse Electronics' new Plume Series dual-band antenna covers lower band WiFi frequencies 2.4-2.5 GHz and upper band frequencies 4.9-5.9 GHz. The flexible nature of the antenna's construction, low profile, and small form factor make it easily adaptable to most industrial design parameters and aesthetic requirements. It is omni-directional in the x-y plane. The 100mm cable assembly with its standard IPEX/U.FL-compliant coax connector pigtail easily connects to wireless radios and modules for WiFi 802.11 as well as Zigbee, Bluetooth, and Bluetooth Low Energy frequency bands. Adhesive backing makes installation easy. High Quality Performance Capabilities "The challenge for creators of IoT products is to make them small, extremely functional, yet have them look great," said Olivier Robin, general manager for Pulse Electronics Wireless Infrastructure business unit, "and they also have to be easy to assemble to meet time-to-market requirements. Pulse has incorporated the high quality performance capabilities of its antennas into an antenna that fits these needs." Pulse Electronics' Plume Series W3315B0100 dual-band flexible printed circuit antenna is RoHS compliant and supports IEEE standards including 802.11n and 802.11ac. It is available in several configurations with custom cable length and connector options available. Lead-time for delivery is 6-8 weeks for volume quantities; small quantities are available in stock.
Pulse Electronics Corporation, a leading provider of electronic components, expands its P0584/85NL high isolation gate drive transformer line with a new series that uses insulation wire on all windings, making them compliant to safety standards such as IEC61558 and IEC60601 for reinforced isolation. The P0584/85NL series provides isolation in MOSFET and IGBT drivers in industrial applications such as motor drive circuits and solar inverters and for power supplies for a range of medical devices. The P0584/85ANL versions extend these to applications that require higher levels of safety and isolation with 30% increased isolation capability (to 4250Vrms) and 20% greater volt-second capability. Higher Isolation Capabilities "Existing toroidal gate drive transformers with triple insulated Teflon wire on just one winding are not compliant to certain safety standards which require mechanical support between windings, even when triple insulated wire is used on one winding," explained Gerard Healy, product manager, Pulse Electronics Power Business Unit. "Pulse's new P0584/85ANL series uses insulated wires on all windings, making them fully compliant. In addition, by using smaller wire diameters, Pulse can increase the number of turns to increase volt-second capability within the same platform size." Pulse's P0584/85ANL high isolation gate drive transformers expand Pulse's P0584/85NL transformer series to offer higher isolation capabilities. They come in a robust package with 8mm creepage distance. The transformers are RoHS compliant and meet standard EIA481 requirements. P0584/85NL are UL recognized/TUV certified to IEC 60950 while the ANL versions are compliant with the requirements of IEC 61558 and IEC 60601 for reinforced insulation. They are available in tube packaging. Prices are about: P0584NL -- $1.49, P0585NL -- $1.69, with an additional 20% for the ANL versions (FCA HK). Lead time is eight weeks.
