Ecl-ips Earns NSI Gold For Security Excellence

Aaron Kernaghan, Managing Director of security and monitoring company, Ecl-ips, has stepped up to take on a major role in the Midlands region of the National Security Inspectorate (NSI). This is the pioneering certification organization for providers of security systems. He has become the Regional Assistant Chairman and will represent the Midlands region on the NSI technical committee. As the Assistant Chairman, Aaron deputises for the Regional Chairman, Ian Ramsay, Managing Director of Coventry-based Clear Sound Fire & Security. Prior roles of Aaron Aaron will also be supporting NSI’s approved companies and ensuring their views are heard, particularly in respect of technical issues. He will hold the Regional Assistant Chairman position for two years. Regional meetings of NSI-approved companies, like Ecl-ips, are held annually. They provide approved companies with technical knowledge and external speakers often attend to give advice on topics to help them grow their businesses. NSI Gold certification Ecl-ips is featured on the NSI website, where Aaron explains the benefits that NSI Gold certification brings Worcestershire-based Ecl-ips became an NSI Gold-approved company in August 2019, having been NSI Silver approved since 2010. In 2022, Aaron became an associate member of the prestigious Association of Security Consultants (ASC). Ecl-ips is featured on the NSI website, where Aaron explains the benefits that NSI Gold certification brings. It shows the company meets the highest industry standards for intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems. Identify areas for improvement To achieve NSI Gold certification, they operate a Quality Management System compliant with the ISO 9001 Standard, which helps companies to continually monitor and manage quality across their businesses, so they can identify areas for improvement. The NSI is accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS), which operates under a Memorandum of Understanding with the UK Government through the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.

Bromsgrove-based security and monitoring company, Ecl-ips, is celebrating its win at the North Worcestershire Business Awards 2024. Best use of Technology Ecl-ips was a winner in the ‘Best use of Technology’ award category at the event at Hogarths Stone Manor near Kidderminster. Ecl-ips beat two other finalists: Redditch-based TSR Electrical Group and StarkEV, an electrical vehicle charging point installer to win. The security installer was among the 30 local businesses that were shortlisted for an award. HALO Smart Sensor The entry from Ecl-ips centered on the advanced technology that is provided by its vape detector offering, the HALO Smart Sensor manufactured by IPVideo in the USA.
