Ranger Fire and Security has acquired its 15th company since launch, with Huddersfield-based Centurion Fire & Security.   The announcement marks Ranger’s second acquisition in 2026 and will enable the company to expand its operations into Yorkshire, reaching more customers and expanding its overall footprint in the North of England.   About Centurion Fire & Security Centurion Fire & Security is a fire and security maintenance led business established in 1974, and in that time has provided services to thousands of commercial properties across the UK for customers operating across a vast range of industries and public sectors including education, nuclear power plants, hospitals, robotic manufacturers and major retailers.  The Huddersfield based company’s services include commercial CCTV installations, offering customers 24/7 monitoring as well as AI operated systems. Comelit-PAC has supplied its LogiFire wireless, addressable multi-panel fire alarm system at Augean’s Kirkby site, installed and commissioned by Centurion Fire & Security to ensure full regulatory compliance. The facility, operated by the major waste treatment specialist, required a robust fire safety system for complete coverage, local and remote monitoring and minimal disruption to operations. Together, Comelit-PAC and Centurion Fire & Security designed and implemented the system to meet the highest category of fire protection under BS 5839-1:2017. The wireless technology enabled a faster installation with minimal disruption, while still ensuring reliability and offering scalability for future site development.
