Forward Vision's Mic1-400 was recently tested head-to-head against high pressure water spray from a fire hose.  The test was conducted to confirm the Mic1-400's performance under extreme conditions well beyond its stated environmental specifications.  Constructed of CNC-milled 6mm-thick aluminum or 316L stainless steel, Mic1-400 is IP68 sealed for total protection against ingress and periods of immersion under pressure, providing absolute performance in extreme conditions such as a direct high-pressure water jet from a fire hose.

Featuring a hurricane-ready design that makes it ideal for harbour and coastal applications - Mic1-400 is installed at critical locations worldwide including the UK's transit systems, bridges, tunnels and the London Underground.  The test was conducted with cooperation from Canada's Burnaby Fire Department #1.
