Brijot Imaging Systems, Inc., market leader in passive millimeter wave imaging solutions
Brijot's Whole Body Imaging Solution is Certified as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security

Brijot Imaging Systems, Inc., market leader in passive millimeter wave imaging solutions, announced today that it has received SAFETY Act Certification from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. This certification, which is the highest level of DHS protection, provides legal liability protection to customers and users of the Brijot solution related to an act of terrorism. As a result of the certification the Brijot solution has been placed on the Approved Products List for Homeland Security, giving customers continued validation that the solution is effective, reliable and safe.

Mitchel J. Laskey, President and CEO of Brijot, stated, "Passing the rigorous standards and being one of the select companies to receive this certification from the DHS is an important milestone in our objectives for product dependability and risk management. The Brijot solution is being successfully deployed globally in airports, ports, rail stations, government buildings, and retail distribution centers. The Brijot whole body imager effectively detects concealed items made of metal, composites, plastics, ceramic, liquids and gels. This certification validates the Brijot solution as a valuable tool for drastically reducing the risk of a terrorist attack."

The SAFETY Act (Support Anti-Terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies Act) was designed to encourage the deployment of new and innovative anti-terrorism products and services to enhance physical security. When Congress passed the SAFETY Act it ensured that the threat of liability would not discourage the deployment of potential solutions.  Brijot is very pleased to be part of this program and the fight against acts of terror.
