Honeywell has announced that the Rapid Eye transmission range of Digital Video Recorders (DVRs) for remotely monitored systems incorporating seamless integration of real-time recording, live local viewing & post-event evaluation, now integrates with Bold Communications' Gemini central station software. The integration of Rapid Eye with the Gemini software platform delivers a completely new level of monitoring performance. Designed particularly with the BS:5979 central station environment in mind, this new integration combines multi-platform, central station functionality with versatile, event-driven CCTV surveillance. This innovative combination is suitable for any integrated monitoring application.

The Gemini alarm management process software seamlessly displays CCTV & alarms at the same workstation. Video alarms from Rapid Eye are presented to the operator in the Gemini application allowing them to be handled quickly & efficiently through the use of a configurable workflow process. Different alarm types can be grouped to facilitate intelligent & validated responses according to the site requirements. False alarm management prevents loss of police response & the efficient management of operator workloads saves costs and helps to prevent errors.
