DOOH business conference 2010
ISE announces partnership for a second edition of the DOOH business conference

Next year's Integrated Systems Europe tradeshow will again be accompanied by a landmark event for the digital signage industry, organiser Integrated Systems Events has announced. Following the success of the inaugural DOOH Business Conference in 2009, a second edition of the Conference will begin on Monday 1 February 2010, the day before the ISE tradeshow, continuing into the morning of the show's opening day.

To ensure that the second DOOH Business Conference maintains and, indeed, surpasses the standards set by the 2009 event, ISE has partnered with Munich-based Invidis Consulting, who will develop the Conference programme and assist with promoting the event.

ISE is also delighted to announce that the Conference will be supported by OVAB Europe - the European arm of the Out-Of-Home Video Advertising Bureau, and the first independent, Europe-wide organization to represent the interests of audiovisual media providers at POS and POI.

"Of the 564 companies who exhibited at ISE in 2009, more than half were in the digital signage business - making our show comfortably the largest digital-signage marketplace in Europe," comments Mike Blackman, Managing Director, Integrated Systems Events. "Our first DOOH Business Conference raised the profile of ISE substantially within the advertising and creative content communities, and we believe our new partnership with Invidis will allow us to build further on this foundation."

Dirk Huelsermann, Chairman of the Board of OVAB Europe, comments: "ISE's DOOH Business Conference is already the leading event for our industry in Europe. So, for us, it is the logical next step to support and participate in next year's Conference, and introduce our Association to all relevant players in the business."

Florian Rotberg, Senior Project Manager, Invidis Consulting, adds: "Having attended the inaugural DOOH Business Conference this year, we were struck by the high quality of delegates and the enormous interest generated not just by the Conference programme, but also by the ISE tradeshow itself. For 2010, we will use our huge experience of the DOOH market to ensure that the programme is more valuable than that of any other pan-European event."

With a firmly established foothold in Europe's DOOH marketplace, Invidis Consulting advises manufacturers, manufacturers, signage network operators, advertising agencies and other enterprises on the concept, procurement, and rollout of Digital Out-Of-Home systems and campaigns. The company also hosts its own DOOH conference in Munich each October and, with the backing of OVAB Europe, has begun conducting quarterly surveys of the DOOH market with the goal of publishing a regular index of industry sentiment.

Mike Blackman concludes: "At ISE, one of our missions is to build bridges between the people who specify the technical detail of digital signage systems and those whose content runs on them. In conjunction with our hugely popular Digital Signage Zone and related exhibits elsewhere on the tradeshow floor, the DOOH Business Conference 2010 will make these connections stronger than ever before, presenting a compelling business opportunity for delegates."
