SANYO Security Systems, a division of SANYO Fisher Company, has announced the appointment of Mr. Robert Schindler to the position of Regional Sales Manager for the Northeast region.
Mr. Schindler brings more than 25 years of security industry experience in managing sales and market development for Toshiba, Sony and Panasonic. Robert's appointment, which is effective immediately, was announced recently by Mr. Frank Abram, Vice President and General Manager, SANYO Security Products Division.
"Bringing Bob on board reinforces the strength of SANYO's sales management team at a dynamic point in time for the security market," said Mr. Abram. "We believe Bob's extensive industry experience provides SANYO with additional depth to deliver the highest levels of sales support in the Northern region."
Mr. Schindler will be responsible for directing all SANYO sales activities within the area, including management of the rep organizations, dealer training, end-user education and Sanyo's continuing commitment to dealer relations.
Robert holds a BA in Mass Communications from the City University of New York, as well as professional certifications from The Wharton School and Six Sigma.
"With Bob's knowledge of the security industry, he will provide the leadership we need for the Northeast regional sales team. He is a welcome addition to the SANYO team," concluded Mr. Abram.
