Panasonic System Solutions Europe has announced its partnership with S2 Security Corporation and its inclusion of the S2 Netbox to its portfolioPanasonic System Solutions Europe is delighted to announce its partnership with S2 Security Corporation.  The partnership means the addition of the S2 access control NetBox to Panasonic's extensive security portfolio, providing customers with an IP based access control system, offering event and alarm monitoring, video surveillance and much more.

In addition to providing an extensive range of CCTV and IP security products, Panasonic System Solutions Europe (PSSEU) announces the inclusion of the S2 NetBox™ to its portfolio.  The S2 NetBox™ is the first integrated IP based security management system to offer an open platform, solid-state network appliance architecture.

The S2 NetBox™ opens opportunities to control access, identity management and photo ID, event and alarm monitoring, temperature monitoring, and VoIP intercoms, all in addition to video surveillance.  It offers seamless integration with access control and alarms and supports both IP and analog cameras, NVRs and DVRs all simultaneously.  Working alongside Panasonic's i-pro camera range, this provides a fully integrated IP solution for any sized system from small offices to large global enterprises.  Additionally the unit offers remote access via browser ensuring a truly open platform with access remotely, centrally or locally.

All PSSEU sales managers based in the UK are now able to offer on-site demonstrations of the S2 NetBox™ to provide customers with the best possible solutions for their security and access control needs.  Paul Meehan, Head of System Solutions Sales UK & Ireland, PSSEU said of the partnership: "Panasonic has always strived for a policy of 'best of breed' where quality, reliability and a technological edge have always been paramount, and in our decision to partner with S2 corporation we continue this approach.  Panasonic's own BM-ET200 Iris reader was awarded access control product of the year at two award ceremonies across Europe in 2007, but in order to expand our security management, access control and alarm monitoring integration products further, we are launching the S2 NetBox™ to ensure we stay at the forefront of technological innovation in all areas of an integrated security system supply."

Phil Mailes, Director for EMEA for S2 Security Corporation commented: "This partnership offers the highly unique and advanced product set of the S2 NetBox via a trusted partner known for its innovation, attention to customer satisfaction and quality products, all of which our two companies share."

Meehan concluded: "Quite simply, the NetBox solution has opened up new markets for our installer and integrator partners making them fiercely competitive in CCTV and Access Control tenders, offering a level of technological excellence that keeps us ahead of our competitors."
