MotionProtect Curtain can recognize movement at a distance of up to 15 m. Does nor react to animals if installed upside down, leaving space for the free movement of animals below the detection zone. It operates within the Ajax security system, connected to the hub via the protected Jeweller protocol. The communication range is up to 1,700 m in an open space. Two PIR sensors of MotionProtect Curtain detect intrusion by detecting moving objects with a temperature close to the human body. After detecting the movement, it instantly sends an alarm to the hub, which activates the sirens connected to the system, triggers scenarios, and notifies users and the security company. To prevent false alarms, MotionProtect Curtain has a Correlation Signal Processing functionality that can be enabled in the detector settings. Once it is active, the detector starts sending alarm states to the hub only if an identical motion signal is registered by both PIR sensors. If it is disabled, MotionProtect Curtain sends an alarm state even if one of the two PIR sensors is triggered. The detector responds only if infrared radiation is detected by both sensors. If only one of the PIR sensors has transmitted a signal specific for movement, the detector cuts it off as an interference. Signals of the two sensors are analyzed by the SmartDetect algorithm, which analyzes their duration and character (intensity), and cuts off the interference. The data from the PIR sensors of the detector undergo correlation signal processing (are checked for similarity). If signals are identical, the detector activates an alarm. If signals are different (for example, caused by different sources), the alarm is ignored. The device automatically increases or decreases the sensor sensitivity in order to accurately detect motion in the heat and the cold. Users know exactly where motion is detected. The notifications contain the name of the hub (name of the secure facility), the name of the device, and the virtual room to which the detector is assigned.
