Bosch Introduces 20-inch Flat-panel LCD Monitor

Bosch Security Systems has added a 20-inch LCD color monitor to its 15-inch and 17-inch range of video displays for high-performance CCTV surveillance.  The new monitor, the MON201CL, has two looping composite video inputs and two looping audio, one looping Y/C and one analog VGA input.  These inputs are especially suited for surveillance applications using PCs and digital video recording, storage and playback devices.  The new monitor is compact with a panel depth of only 86 mm and, as with the other monitors, can be either base-mounted or affixed to a wall bracket to suit customer requirements.  Other key features include a DC power outlet for a 12-volt camera, user-friendly on-screen menus controlled either from the front panel or remotely and a lockout function to prevent access once the monitor settings have been made.  Provided with 800 x 600 pixel resolution, the MON201CL can be scaled for compatibility with 1024 x 768 resolution.  Installing highly visible monitors in shops and stores is a proven theft deterrent, and the wide viewing angle of the MON201CL greatly assists staff in maintaining a high level of surveillance.
