Veeam Software, the #1 pioneer by market share in Data Resilience, announces the appointment of Piero Gallucci as Regional Vice President for UK and Ireland.
With more than 25 years of experience in sales, channel management, and enterprise technology, Piero will lead Veeam’s UK&I operations, supporting customers in achieving data resilience, security, and business continuity.
Customer success initiatives
Prior to joining Veeam, Piero served as Area Vice President and General Manager for UK & Ireland at NetApp, where he led strategic growth and customer success initiatives across the region. Before NetApp, Piero was Vice President, EMEA Sales at VMware Tanzu, driving cloud-native transformation and enterprise adoption, and previously held senior sales leadership roles at Docker, Inc., including Vice President and GM, EMEA & APAC.
Piero’s career also includes seven years at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, where he served as Director & Head of Sales for the Financial Services Industry, Global Account General Manager for HSBC, and Global Account Manager for the Banking & Financial Services Sector. Earlier, Piero held key sales and management roles at Intel Corporation, focusing on the banking and retail sectors across EMEA.
