DVTEL India to announce its aim to deliver in-country repair services at IFSEC India exhibition

Building on its success and growing customer base across the globe, DVTEL, Inc., the video surveillance solutions provider, has expanded its market share in India since opening its subsidiary office here last year. DVTEL India is ranked the country’s number one supplier of Video Management Software (VMS) and the number two supplier of network security cameras, by market share, by IMS Research, recently acquired by IHS.

DVTEL India, a local company committed to delivering DVTEL’s end-to-end video solutions to ensure the safety and security of people, property and assets, built a network of dedicated personnel to deliver local technical and sales support to its value-added resellers. The company will announce at this week’s IFSEC India exhibition that it will now provide in-country repair services to deliver local customers a more streamlined service offering.

India’s demographics and large-scale urbanisation have accelerated the need for surveillance technologies that leverage IP infrastructure. This has resulted in strong customer demand for DVTEL’s technologies, which allow integrators to deliver comprehensive solutions from the camera to the control room including edge devices, Video Management Software, intelligent video analytics, custom applications and integration. DVTEL’s newest camera line, Quasar, offers the highest quality video at extremely low bandwidth, giving customers the ability to calculate storage requirements and enhance their return on investment.

Led by Managing Director Inderjit Sehrawat, the local office serves as a hub to identify partnership opportunities, oversees local efforts, provides sales support and service and coordinates customer requests. The DVTEL India subsidiary has experienced success in large municipal surveillance projects, transit deployments and other large-scale video surveillance installations.

“We look to install technology that is reliable, scalable and easy to maintain,” said Mr. Parveen Kumar, Director of Operations & Maintenance, Rapid MetroRail Gurgaon Ltd., a local DVTEL customer. “DVTEL technologies meet these requirements and go beyond, by providing a lower total cost of ownership when compared to other systems.”

“DVTEL has invested enthusiastically in our success in India, especially through the development of our robust network of local sales and support personnel,” Sehrawat said. “There is great demand for high-quality video surveillance technology and systems in the country, especially as many businesses and municipalities upgrade from analog to IP. DVTEL India fulfills that need with first-class technology, service and support that our customers have come to expect from us.”
