Dallas' is one of the nation's largest all-wireless public video surveillance systems
Media representatives covering the ASIS show this October are invited to see up-close and first-hand how wireless video surveillance is a valuable tool to help law enforcement fight crime in Dallas, the host city for the ASIS International 56th Annual Seminar and Exhibits. The Dallas installation has been in operation since 2007 and is currently one of the nation's largest all-wireless public video surveillance systems.

When: Monday, October 11, the day before the ASIS show, from 1.30 to 4 p.m.

The tour will visit the Downtown Dallas Business District, Arts District, and Uptown Dallas area en route to Dallas Police headquarters, where a visit to the Police Command Centre will highlight the camera system and the Dallas Police Department's impressive results using video to fight crime. Successful public/private partnerships were instrumental in the deployment of the camera systems in several areas of city, including the Central Business District, the Arts District, the Jefferson Avenue area, and the Jubilee Park neighborhood.
