Matrox Graphics is launching a new addition to its portfolio of hardware-accelerated IP-video decoding technology
Matrox Graphics will be launching an addition to its portfolio of hardware-accelerated IP video decoding technology for traffic management systems next week at the 15th World Congress on ITS. This new board set is capable of simultaneously decoding multiple IP video streams-at a variety of resolutions and encoded formats. Consisting of two boards, the decoder board completely offloads the host CPU and the output board supports up to four displays at full HD resolutions.

Matrox video display wall controller boards, featuring the most scalable architecture in the industry, will also be showcased. The broad range of Matrox solutions for display walls enables OEMs and A/V integrators to tailor display wall controllers to specific project requirements.

A Matrox Extio™ F1400 remote graphics unit (RGU) will be powering four monitors on an operator console. The ability to show the information displayed at the operator console on a display wall will be demonstrated. Extio RGUs can separate up to four monitors, keyboard, mouse and other user I/O devices from the host PC by up to 820ft (250m) of fiber-optic cable-without an impact on performance. Matrox Extio RGUs are ideal for control room environments where data security, heat generation, noise levels and space constraints are IT management concerns.

Witness the benefits of Matrox graphics technology for ITS while sitting at an AFC Industries ergonomic, height-adjustable, single or dual tier console.
