Administrator Johnson's presentation will be invaluable to the many security professionals in attendance
New General Services Administration (GSA) Administrator Martha Johnson is scheduled to deliver a keynote address at the Security Industry Association (SIA) Government Summit in June.

The GSA manages the Multiple Award Schedules (MAS) Program and is responsible for overseeing the allocation of billions of dollars in economic stimulus funds, making it an important federal agency to the security industry.

Johnson is expected to discuss her priorities for the GSA and to take questions and comments from Summit attendees.

"We are very excited that Administrator Johnson will be speaking at the SIA Government Summit," SIA Director of Government Relations Don Erickson said. "Her presentation will be invaluable to the many security professionals in attendance who do business with government agencies at the federal, state and local levels."

The SIA Government Summit is the premier public policy conference in the security industry. This year's edition, scheduled for June 8-9 at the Embassy Suites Washington Convention Centre, will feature sessions on a wide range of policy issues affecting the electronic physical security industry, from FICAM implementation to a discussion of chemical security proposals and government procurement policies. Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist George Will and Clinton White House Press Secretary Mike McCurry are scheduled to appear.
