Following a successful pilot program, RTC has opted to implement ZeroEyes' technology in numerous additional locations, marking a deployment increase of over 300%.
The RTC became the first transit agency in the United States to fully implement weapons detection analytics when it initially launched its ZeroEyes deployment in June 2024. This initiative is part of a broader safety strategy that includes armed security personnel and GPS-enabled panic buttons for drivers. Throughout 2024, RTC recorded a 40% decrease in passenger-on-passenger assaults and a 26% reduction in operator assaults.
