Teledyne’s lineup includes fixed and portable equipment designed to mitigate hydrogen sulfide (H2S) risks. Among the highlights will be the GD1 laser-based gas detector, the only open-path detector for H2S applications with full SIL2 approval, and the DG gas detector capable of operating in temperatures up to +65°C.

Range of fixed and portable equipment
Teledyne Gas and Flame Detection’s range of fixed and portable equipment ensures safety against hydrogen sulphide (H2S) and its associated risks. On display will be the ground-breaking GD1 laser-based gas detector with full SIL2 third-party approval, the market’s only open-path gas detector for H2S safety-related applications.
Also on show will be the DG gas detector with highly visible display and the ability to operate at temperatures up to +65°C. From a personal safety perspective, Teledyne GFD is set to highlight the Protégé ZM zero-maintenance, single-gas portable gas monitor and the PS DUO dual-gas detector that can detect both H2S and SO2 (sulfur dioxide).
NDIR sensor technology
Methane (CH₄) emissions are firmly in the spotlight. Teledyne GFD will use its CH₄ focus area at ADIPEC to present solutions featuring a variety of technologies, including infrared optical gas imaging, and acoustic sensors to measure and quantity gas leaks.
Among notable solutions will be the new MethaSense Trace for continuous low-emission monitoring, detection and quantification with 50 ppm sensitivity utilizing non-dispersive infrared (NDIR) sensor technology.
IR and UV-IR open-path flame detectors
Regarding flame detection, Teledyne Gas and Flame Detection will showcase the benefits of its MultiFlame DF-TV7–T, a multi-spectrum infrared flame detector with three wavelengths. Designed to respond to unwanted hydrocarbon fires, the DF-TV7–T maintains a high degree of false alarm immunity.
Also present will be Spyglass triple IR and UV-IR open-path flame detectors. Crucially, customers can opt to integrate Spyglass with high-definition video, facilitating safety decisions from a distance.
Key among wireless technologies on the stand will be a new gas detection monitoring system with touchscreen panel. Users can build the system to meet individual needs with its ability to accommodate a mix of custom gas sensors, touchscreen options, alarm set points and power options. Connecting up to 64 Modbus or 4-20mA gas detectors (wired or wireless) into a single network, the new system delivers flexibility, safety and performance.
