SeeTec Cayuga R4 contains extended multicast support as well as new features to process alarms and to detect camera sabotage
The new version of the update server allows much more convenient migration of SeeTec 5 systems to SeeTec Cayuga

At Security Essen SeeTec AG is going to showcase innovations in video management software on a 120 sqm booth together with German distribution partner Allnet (hall 2.0, booth 217).

SeeTec Highlights

Three topics are in the focus: The new software release SeeTec Cayuga R4 provides a bundle of new features, which especially facilitate operations and management in big installations. Thus the new version of the update server allows a much more convenient migration of SeeTec 5 systems to SeeTec Cayuga. Furthermore SeeTec Cayuga R4 contains extended multicast support as well as new features to process alarms and to detect camera sabotage.

The second highlight will be the presentation of new interfaces, enabling an even better embedding of SeeTec Cayuga in integrated security architecture. Thus integrations of external video analytics solutions via the standardized SeeTec Analytics Interface will as well be showcased as DVR and access control integrations, which will be available with SeeTec Cayuga R5.

SeeTec Logistics Solution

Next to traditional security applications, sector-specific video solutions supporting and optimising processes in companies play a major role for SeeTec. Under the headline “Business Video Intelligence” SeeTec is going to show a new generation of the SeeTec Logistics Solution on Security Essen. In addition, further concepts providing added value for customers such as the combination of video footage, analytics metadata and PoS information will be presented.

Christian Ringler, head of sales at SeeTec, is looking forward to Security Essen: “With the current release SeeTec Cayuga R4 and with the following release R5 scheduled for December we continue to optimize our software by adding a multitude of new features and integrations for the use in big projects and complex environments. Hereby we focus on the development of standardized interfaces, which provide a basis for a fast and efficient deployment of future integrations. In parallel, we keep pursuing the strategy to offer added value with our software solutions even beyond traditional security applications.”
