The Security Industry Association (SIA) has opened the call for nominations for the 2022 Women in Biometrics Awards, a globally recognized awards function that is presented by the Security Industry Association, with the support from sponsors - AVISIAN, IDEMIA, and SIA’s Identity & Biometric Technology Advisory Board, along with the Women in Security Forum.

The recipients of the Security Industry Association’s 2022 Women in Biometrics Awards will be honored at the SIA GovSummit 2022, the SIA’s annual government security conference, which is taking place from May 24 to May 25, 2022, at the National Association of Home Builders, in Washington, D.C., USA.

The Security Industry Association (SIA) supports International Women’s Day and will celebrate the day and its 2022 theme, by encouraging its members and the larger security industry to work to forge women’s equality and to push for support of the #BreakTheBias campaign.
