Each $2,500 scholarship is awarded after consideration by the SEC Scholarship Committee made up of SEC staff, successful former and current security practitioners, and university faculty.

Kennesaw State University and the Institute for Cybersecurity Workforce Development (ICWD) are very appreciative of this generous gift. Thanks to the SEC for this financial support for one of our best and brightest students," said Dr. Michael Whitman, Executive Director of the ICWD, adding "Joshua, in being chosen by the SEC selection committee for the second consecutive year, has demonstrated excellence in his academic studies. He is on his way to a successful career in Cybersecurity.”

SEC’s continued generosity

We are truly grateful for SEC’s continued generosity in supporting efforts to encourage educational opportunities for the next generation of analysts.
