U.S. Security Associates specifically targets veteran jobseekers through its military hiring programme
U.S. Security Associates is recognsed as one of the nation’s top employers of reservists and veterans
On Veterans Day, U.S. Security Associates joined Americans from coast to coast in honouring America’s military, past and present, for their dedication and service to the country. The national security company has thousands of veterans in its security force and in administrative and management positions throughout the organization.

Top Employer Of Veterans

“With so many veterans in our ranks, each of our employees can personally thank an associate for serving and sacrificing for our nation,” observes Richard Wyckoff, the security company’s President and CEO. Wyckoff also encourages employees and others who wish to express gratitude to send a letter through the non-profit organization, A Million Thanks. The organization has delivered more than 7 million letters of appreciation to active, reserve, and veteran military at home, abroad, or injured in hospitals. U.S. Security Associates has a link to AMillionThanks.org posted at www.ussecurityassociates.com/career/military-testimonials.

“Support of the military is part of our company’s DNA,” says David Kahn, the security company’s Chief Human Resources Officer. “We were founded by a veteran, and we recruit heavily from the military. Service members have already proven they have the leadership skills, training, and discipline that are essential for success and advancement in the security service industry.”

U.S. Security Associates is recognsed as one of the nation’s top employers of reservists and veterans transitioning to civilian life. Just this month, G.I. Jobs magazine named U.S. Security Associates as a Military Friendly® Employer for the fourth consecutive year. Also this year, the company was selected by CivilianJobs.com as a finalist for the Most Valuable Employers (MVE) for Military® award. The company has also been ranked among U.S. Veterans magazine’s Best of the Best Top Veteran-Friendly Companies.

Recuriting America’s Brave

Kahn reports that U.S. Security Associates specifically targets veteran jobseekers through its military hiring program, Recruiting America’s Brave. “We have always been military-friendly,” says Kahn, “but we have hired veterans in record numbers since joining the 100,000 Jobs Mission in 2013.” U.S. Security Associates is one of approximately 200,000 employers participating in the coalition formerly named the 100,000 Jobs Mission. The name was changed to the Veterans Job Mission after coalition companies surpassed the original 100,000 jobs goal. The new goal is to hire 1,000,000 veterans.

According to Wyckoff, U.S. Security Associates offers veterans more than a job. “We offer them a future.” Wyckoff describes transitioning military and veterans as very desirable candidates. “They are first-class leaders, project managers, and problem solvers with skills and mindsets that translate well in security. Connecting veterans with career opportunities where they can excel is one of many ways we say ‘thank you for your service.”
