The global healthcare sector is set to enhance its security measures through a new direct customer agreement involving Artificial Intelligence Technology Solutions, Inc. (AITX) and its subsidiary, Robotic Assistance Devices, Inc. (RAD).
The deal includes the initial deployment of RAD's solar-powered autonomous security solutions, RIO 360™, and marks a step forward in utilizing AI-driven technologies to improve security operations and reduce the reliance on conventional security personnel.
Adoption of AI-Driven Security Technologies
The healthcare organization aims to integrate RAD's AI-driven security systems as part of its initiative to optimize security operations, making them more cost-effective and robust in various facility locations. This strategic adoption highlights the challenges faced by large entities that manage distributed facilities, particularly at remote or low-activity sites where maintaining a traditional guard presence might not be feasible.

As part of an expansion announced earlier this year, RAD's RIO 360 units now come with the Speaking Autonomous Responsive Agent (SARA™) as a standard feature. SARA enhances the security platform by supporting intelligent detection, communication, and operational response, thereby improving the efficiency and responsiveness of security systems.
