OPTEX is supporting Pointer Ltd, a major provider of training and qualifications for young people in the security and fire sector in the United Kingdom, and its Apprenticeship scheme through a donation of sensors and detection solutions.

A range of reconditioned OPTEX sensors will be used to support Pointer’s Apprenticeship training program to give students practical hands-on security design and installation experience as part of its training and development portfolio.

Mission of OPTEX

Among the systems provided, OPTEX has donated a REDSCAN RLS-3060 LiDAR sensor, a range of outdoor curtain PIR sensors, long-range intrusion detection sensors, and FlipX Standard indoor detection sensors.
