Jacksons Fencing, a trusted security solutions provider, specified for five installations at previous Shurgard sites, was entrusted with the task of installing a comprehensive security solution for the Shurgard Self-Storage facility at City Airport.
Spanning 5 floors with 1,350 storage units, this facility is the largest of its kind in the UK. The strategic location, just five minutes from the airport, necessitated a robust automated entry solution to ensure the security of the premises.

Selecting the appropriate perimeter fencing is essential for both the security and visual appeal of self-storage facilities. Sentry® vertical bar fencing was chosen for the City Airport facility, featuring the added Security Comb topping for increased protection against climbing.
This choice establishes a distinct boundary to discourage unauthorized access. It offers a discreet visual deterrent while maintaining clear visibility through the fence.

Sentry vertical bar fencing is ideal for medium to high-risk sites, offering customization options such as fence spikes, barbed wire, razor wire, and anti-climb features. Its unintrusive design strikes a balance between security and customer comfort, making it optimal for commercial premises like self-storage facilities.
